Requesting a new Workspace

You can request a new workspace by following these steps:

  1. Select the Request a new Workspace link from the top navigation menu or the task link options within the body of the Home page. This shows you the Request a new workspace page and form.
  2. Enter a name for the new workspace in the Workspace name text box. This is a friendly display name that will help you identify and differentiate that workspace from others you may create - as you can have multiple workspaces.
  3. Enter a description to justify the business requirement for your new workspace request in the Description text box. This is a message that is sent to the support team stating the reason why you need the workspace. This helps the support team when reviewing your approval request. If they need any more information, they will contact you via email before approving or rejecting your request.
  4. Select the Save workspace request button to submit your request, or the Return to workspaces link to cancel the new workspace request and return to the My workspace page.

Once your request is approved, you will receive an email notification to advise you that your request has been approved and a new workspace has been created. You will be able to view the new workspace which will now have a status of Active. Initially, you will be the only member of your workspace, which means it is your private area.

You can cancel your new workspace approval request at anytime before it is approved.
