To search and view firewall logs for any of your APIs:

  1. From the navigation menu, select My workspaces
  • Or from the homepage, select My workspaces in the main content area.
  1. Choose the workspace with the API you want to view firewall logs.
  2. In the APIs section, select the API.
  3. From the side menu, go to Reporting and select Firewall logs.
  4. Use the search bar to find a firewall log
  • Enter a word or phrase for firewall log you want to find
  1. Set your search preferences:
  • Environment
  • Time range
  • Display result - number of logs to display per page
  1. Select Search.
  • Or Clear to reset preferences to the default.

What you’ll see in the API firewall logs

Each API firewall log includes:

  • Request information – Details about the incoming request
    • Use the Show more information icon to expand and view additional request details
  • WAF detection log listing – Shows any actions taken by the Web Application Firewall
    • If a WAF match is detected, select the Show details icon to view:
    • The reason for the match
    • Technical details to help with debugging

Use these logs to investigate blocked requests, understand WAF rule triggers, and fine-tune your API security settings.
